Position Overview

The Annalect Consulting organization plays a vital role in the agency team structure, with responsibilities including:

•Guide clients and agency teams through the cluttered and fragmented advertising and marketing technology landscape. We do this by working across agency and client stakeholders to understand our clients’ business objectives and provide unique, data-enabling solutions through technology, people and process that directly impact those business goals.

•Build trust through demonstrating AdTech or martech subject matter expertise which is relevant and empathetic to Omnicom Media Group leadership and clients’ needs and fostering collaboration and iterative progress toward a desired future state

•Collaborate effectively across Annalect Consulting’s Platform Account Management and Operations groups to maintain a constantly evolving center of excellence for supporting OMG teams and clients

 

You will be part of a team made of up technology-specific leads responsible for designing, defining and executing agency and client engagements centered around data enablement relevant to specific business objectives.

You will manage these client projects and foster collaboration and a solutions-driven approach across fellow Annalect Consulting contributors, agency and client stakeholders and technology partners.

This role partners with multiple agency teams and ad technology vendors to socialize best practices, evaluate platforms, author POV’s, and design tailored ad technology “stacks”. Given the breadth of accounts, increasing complexity of ad technology, and demand for guidance, this role is well-suited for people who get excited about applying and translating technical know-how to help solve business challenges. It requires an understanding of technical and business implications of ad technology, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain in-depth expertise in the fast-evolving digital marketing technology landscape across targeting, optimization, and measurement, including ongoing meetings with technology partners to understand their solutions, evaluate platforms relative to competitors and inform product roadmaps
  • Consult with Omnicom agencies across various data and technical capabilities, including but not limited to Standard/Mobile Ad-Servers, Rich/Video Ad-Servers, Ad Viewability & Fraud, Audience Measurement, Data Management Platform, Tag Management, Dynamic Creative, Behavioral Targeting Compliance
  • Develop and evangelize position statements, case studies and best practices around existing and emerging digital marketing technologies
  • Support Associate Director in solutioning best-in-breed ad technology stack recommendations, including partner recommendation, data flow and platform integration design, and presentation preparation and delivery
  • Play the role of enterprise liaison between ad technology partners and multiple agency teams to introduce beta opportunities, identify account opportunities, coordinate training and updates, and resolve service challenges

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years’ experience with a variety of digital technologies, such as: Standard/Mobile Ad-Servers, Rich/Video Ad-Servers, Ad Viewability & Fraud, Audience Measurement, Data Management Platform, Tag Management, Dynamic Creative, Behavioral Targeting Compliance
  • Experience with Multi-Touch Attribution and/or Marketing Mix Modeling
  • Demonstrated understanding of how ad technology satisfies digital campaign measurement needs, and the implications of mis-implementation on the ability to deliver on those needs
  • Proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience working in an agency environment highly desirable, but not required—agencies are exciting places to work with a variety of projects moving fast, having the first-hand experience will help someone quickly ramp up
  • Knowledge of the agency digital planning and campaign management process
  • Proven effectiveness in managing relationships—this role requires successful relationship management with multiple agency teams, as well as working closely with technology partners
  • Articulate and comfortable speaking with diverse audiences, including clients, demonstrating the ability to translate technical subject matter into relatable business terminology and respond to unexpected questions on the spot
  • Must work collaboratively with a variety of internal functions, including Platform Operations, Client Services, and agency teams
  • Analytical mindset with knowledge and passion for media, data, and technology
  • Creative thinker that is willing to challenge the norm to improve product offerings

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, information science, social science or business-related fields with technical and project management skills
